If the Kuryakyn license bracket /turn signal bracket doesn't pan out to be what I really want, it's only $34.99. I like the look of a V-rod style or Deuce-style fender, just wondering if anyone has replaced their stock Dyna fender with this style and if you have any pictures? I've found that Sumax has this style fender in a composite material for about $125.00 through discount outlets, but they don't have a lot of information on them. I e-mailed them yesterday and received a very quick and short reply that "most of our customers find that the use of aftermarket tail lamps the best thing when using this fender." Great, but I'd hate to have a fender on the bike and then wait another few weeks trying to play detective for a light that will not only look good, but actually WORK on the fender.
Both the V-rod and Deuce fenders are made for a much wider tire and would look kind of goofy mounted on the back of a Dyna. That style, like the original Superglide fender give a nice/different look to the bike. Just asking. I'm a year ahead of myself on projects and it's still winter here in NY.
