Street bob and low rider are exactly the same bike. The only difference is the handle bars. I don't know why you would feel cramped on a LW and not on a Bob.

Justthe bars and forwards would make a difference, plus I've changed risers.

I am 5' 11" 32 " inseam. It fits me perfect. I tried a few softtails and felt like I was sitting to high. Go for it man.

On my 2000 LR I have mid controls and highway pegs! It is perfect for active riding and crusing.

I'm 6' and my 07 lowrider fits perfect. I have the foreward controls. They are good for active riding and even better for cruising. Moving my feet foreward 10 inches did not take away my riding skills.

The fwd controls would be a good upgrade on that L/R, if you get the bike, be cautious of diving into the turns like you could with that sporty, the steering is quite different. It's so much easier tweaking the carb version too.

if you can fit on a sportster you can fit on a lowrider...
Heck yeah!

I let a buddy of mine cruise my Lowrider and he loves it. Thinking about trading his Fat boy for one! He is 6' 2" about 200 pounds!

He took it out and when he came back the first thing he said was, "I didn't think a Harley good perform like that!"

I findmy '07 low and absolute BLAST!! Great all around bike. I've tossed around the idea of forwards, but with the highway pegs, why bother. Plus it is very nice to move around a little. I actually considered trading up for a street glide. Well, I considered right up until I jumped back on the low after the test ride. NOPE!!! I'll be keeping the dyna, thanks anyway!!! Good luck!
