Works for me. I tried several different seats including a Mustang and a C&C but settled on the Corbin. It is hard as a rock though til you break in to it.

Good Luck

Tom

No problem with Corbin as such - more with their distrubution network in Europe and my dealer. Story goes as follows -I ordered my first Corbin Classic Solo seat with a Standard OvalBack backrest about this time last year. I specified stitching and chrome studs on the seat and the backreast as standard. I was told it would take around 6 / 8 weeks for it to arrive. When it eventually arrived the backrest was perfect but the seat had the studs but no stitching. My dealer tried to convince me to accept it offering a discount etc., but I was adamant I wanted what I had ordered so they sent it back to the distributor and ordered another one.

Again some 6 / 8 weeks passed and eventually the replacement seat arrived but this time with the stitching but no chrome studs. I lost it at this point and my dealer then said they would send it back yet again and order yet anotherone froma different distrubutor after trying to convince me to take the seat and they would pay to have the chrome studs added.I again stick to my guns and my dealer order yet another seat from a different distrubutor (so they told me)with a delivery time of yet another 6 / 8 weeks.

Its a good job I am a patient manand thatI am a great believer in the saying, 'everything comes to those who wait'. I eventually get the call somethat my seat is in Belgium and will be shipped over by FedEx and will be with my dealer in the next two / three days. This is where things went slightly down hill, as unbeknown to me the second error was due to an ordering mistake by my dealer and not the distributor - anyway I got a lot of excuses as to why it was taking so long and I eventually learn that the delay was caused by my dealer trying to get their money back from the distrubutor and the distrubutor not shipping my seat as a result. Anyway after yet again loosing it with my dealer I am told that the seatwill arrive shortly. A couple of weeks later it eventually turns up - you've guessed it - wrong - it has the stitching but not the chrome studs.

Wow - you can probably guess how the ensuing conversation with the dealer then goes - so they say leave it with them. I am getting somewhat dismayed by this point especially as the dealer has had nearly a $1000 of my money for 9 months and I haven't had anything to show for it. Anyway I get a call a few days later saying the right seat has come in and it looks great. It turns out my seat was sent to some guy in the north of England and his seat was sent to me. I go in to the dealer expecting the worst - but after some 10 months it's my seat looking new and fantastic. I take it home and fit it on which is dead easy and I am not a wrench so it must be and the rest is history.

So that's the story of my Corbin seat - but I have to say it was worth the wait and its been really good........
