If it's just road grime, I use one of those Scuunci portable steamers.
Gets in places my hand or a brush can't, and the grime rolls off.
+1 on the SHOUT

Ever heard of a Webster? It's a round plastic brush on the end of a collapsable pole. They are designed for getting spider webs out of overhangs and what not but work really well with soap and water for reaching hard to get to places on a motorcycle without wrecking your back.

If the wheel is that nasty, go to the power wash, and then spray it down with Gunk Engine Cleaner, let it sit a few minutes then blast it off.

Then when dry, use Nev-R-Dull and a shop rag.

No easy way...it's just WORK

I swapped the rear to a disc in the rear....now I have a tubeless tire in the back, and it's a snap to clean!

The spokes on an '02are cadmium plated, not chrome. There are never gonna look great no matter what you do. They naturally turn more gray and crappy looking as they age.

I saw an earlier post about "Shout". I figured I'd give it a try on my "white" motor where there was grime and a little seepage.

Wow, this is the ****, works great on cast too! Spray it on, let it sit a minute, wipe it off, brush a little on tough spots.
