Default Adjustments to PCIII - Help needed

Hey guys,

As some of you know, I went to get my bike tuned and the guy that did it did a poor job. My gas mileage is about 25 for city and 31 for highway. Its starting to annoy me now, and my spark plugs and 02 sensors were full of black, unburnt fuel. My pipes are all kinds of gold and blue. So, is there anything I can do myself to try and fix this? I had lots of popping when I had my baffles in, but since I have removed them and put torque cones, I'm not getting any what so ever but the gas mileage is still killing me. So, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Thanks!
Adrian

It is almost certainly running (rich).
Was there any gold on the pipes before the dyno tune?
Did you talk to the tuner about the problems?
If it's as black/sooty as you say, they should be able to correct it.
If not please let us know who it is so folks can stay away from them.
You can always save the MAP you have(paid for) and try to tweak one of your own.
I paid for a dyno tune(from the stealer) and I got the opposite effects, (running lean).
So I saved the stealers MAP and started tweaking with a close one(I have differrent exhasut)from Power Commander and started tweaking it.
My mileage has gone down from stock, but not quite as bad as yourssounds.

Would he consider doing it for another forum member?
I'd certainly be willing to compensate him for his expertease.
PM, e-mail if you prefer.

When is popping considered a problem? I have an 08 Fat Bob with Rush 1.75 slip-ons, big sucker a/c and PC III programed from Fuelmoto. I'm having occational popping on decel from 1st and 2nd gears from high rpms. My buddy also noticed black smoke from my pipes when I hammer down. I've only put 210 kms on it so far and everything seems to run really well (i.e. no hesitation, etc). Do you guys think I need to adjust the PC III or does everything appear to be normal?

AdrianVall, post your map. Take a screenshot or post the file over in the ECM forum.
