Default Lowered the bob

i LOVE my progressive 418's not only because of how they handle but they look perfect with the overall theme of the bike. Now im running HD's because I weigh around 280 lbs. (NEVER ride two up but by myself its the equivelent though) But ive havent adjusted them at all and have never bottomed out. Mine are 12" the lowest they go is 11.5". So I wanted to lower the rear and no offense to anyone but dont like the 412's at all (not to mention im already into my shocks for about $400, but if they made them in 11'sI would have sold and bought). So anyway I order the Tamarack 1" lowering blocks and put them on today. I dont feel that they are on too extreme an angle and are really well built. This was my most viable option for lowering the rear and im glad I did it.....no bottoming and I think it looks great. Ive studied as a mechanical engineer, a draftsman and was even a machinist for a while. Im not an expert but if I manage to shear some bolt or trash the tranny/swingarm pivot with 1" of drop, i'd be amazed. Here's a pic...tell me what you think.

Very cool muddyape -- normally I don't care for the rear lowered but not the front, however, with your tank lift (I assume) and pipe angles it all flows together really well!

its an S&S kit to fit the EFI Dyna's. I have two covers...one chrome and the second was powdercoated wrinkle black.

Looks great, man. I think that's the only color that makes the satin battery band stand out and look like it's right. Kind of makes me wish I had gotten the pewter denim instead of black denim.

Mudd- The only bad things I've heard about the lowering blocks is that you may bend a shock because of the angle. Like I said heard but not seen. The scoot looks great.
