when I bought my pipes the short shots I purchased some bungs that screw in to the pipes so I guess that answers that question. Now if I remove them fro mthe bike is there a connectore that I can just unplug them > or is there cutting invlolded. HAs anyone just left them in the pipes and if so is there any problems ?

No cutting involved. I left mine in for about 2,000 miles then pulled them when I replaced the exhaust. If you leave them in (no real reason to), make sure the wires are zip-tied out of the way. I'd pull-em out though.
When you install the PCIII, youwill disconnect the O2 sensors at the plug. The PCIII comes withO2 sensor eliminators that plug into the wire harness where you removed the O2 sensors. You can then install bungs into your pipes where the O2 sensors were.
