Greg- The wiring is not all that bad. You have to mount the ballast in the headlight and attach a couple of wires to it. I had the worst time with a retaining ring because I wasn't paying attention. It wasn't cheap but makes a world of difference at night.

DR,
That one has the hi/low beam in it right? I see that they sell just the guts also. I have the HD 5 3/4 inch but would like more light.

Off subject, did your control boxes have a hole in them where the original turnsignal wires ran? If so what do you do with the hole now tha the signals are on the forks?

FYI when you put a 7" on in place of a 5 3/4" there is more light as the reflector throws out more light. I sat next to my friends 7" & I had a 5 3/4", both are HID. The light pattern was larger and brighter under identical conditions with identical HID kits.

FH,

Would the HID you sell fit inside the HD 5 3/4 bullet headlight? Really do not know where I would hide the ballast.

I have a 6 1/2" Springer headlight I bought thru J&P. I like the teardrop shape & with a 55/100w bulb it throws off a lot more light especially on high beam than stock ever did. I had the bucket powdercoated to match the PC'd lowers.
