Rear Lighting Upgrade
Took about an hour, but I just finished installing:
Kuryakyn 4959 Smoked LED Low Profile Tail Light
1 Pair Radiantz Red LED Turn Signal Elements
1 Pair Smoked Turn Signal Lenses
1 Badlands Plugin "Illuminator"
Honestly, this upgrade was too easy and the amount of rear illumination is incredible. The "Illuminator" converts the turn signals to running lights, brake lights, as well retaining the turn signal function. Total cost about $260.00 USD. The only problem, I was a little disapointed in the fit of the Kuryakyn Tail light.
Looking good, man.
IMO, the LED's are a big improvement, not only in the 'cool' factor but in the overall visibility as well.
Not to mention, they'll (virtually) never burn out.

RE: Rear Lighting Upgrade
Yeah, reliabilty and visibility were my goals with this upgrade. I had a Badlands wired in Illuminator on my Low Rider so I believe in the product. Rick at Badlands was amazingly helpful and great to deal with. He has a great company and a great product.
