Default big sucker I or II?

What do most A/N Big Sucker owners have stage I or stage II? I'm going to order one tonight, but not sure what direction to go with on my superglide. I see stage II will get 20% more, but are there any requirements for stage II? Thanks for the help!

the stage II is physically larger and might hit your leg. The stock cover wil not fit either.

Stage 1 here. If you are doing a stage 1, then that is all you need. Using anything that brings more air in that is not needed is only going to lean the bike out even more. If the engine hasn't been upgraded (biggerdisplacement)to need the additional air, why push it through there? Stage 1 is for a stage 1 upgrade, stage 2 is for a stage 2 upgrade, pretty simple.

I had one one my Sportster, stage 1 flow PLENTY of air.
Stage 2 was a bit too big, I had to bend my knee around it.
I noticed no performance difference between the two.

Ordered the Stage 1 today. I'm sure it is more than enough airflow.
I also want to use the round "Born to Ride" cover off the football and have an open filter. I love that look.
