Have 6500 on the SG. Seems smoother the past few miles. Is it me or is this common with HDs. Maybe it is just the warmer weather. Curious about the other riders opinions on this.
Only got about 1500 on mine. It started "seeming(?)" smoother around 1300. I think it's been getting smoother ever since. Not sure if it's real, or just a feeling.
If this is your first HD you are getting used to the V-Twin motor and it's liveliness. If your tires are up on the pressure you will feel some road imperfections also. On some of the newer bikes there seems to be some harmonic vibrations from the primary during decelarations but no big deal.
It's a Dyna. It will vibrate your hands and feet pretty good. Invest in ISO grips and foot pegs. That and some good gel-padded 1/2 gloves. These all work good especially on long hauls. Also, these bikes really smooths out at speeds greater than 75 mph I found.
I noticed my Super Glide went through a couple of plateaus. First was between 1500 and 2000 and the second was around 5500. At 5500 it also started sounding really nice (my opinion.) Haven't run into any other plateaus that can't be explained by new parts.
I don't have any vibration on my feet and smooth on my hands when off idle. Have noticed no change at any point on the Bob. Maybe a bit more vibration at idle since the 103 build.

So, where did all this vibration stuff come from? I thought we were talking about just the overall feel of the bike. Lilke everything starting to come together, and a feeling of everything working in sync.
