need ehaust advice
im thinking about selling my v&h shortshots and getting the v&h bigshots.i believe i'll get better power and maybe not as much popping on decel .. what do you guys think about the bigshots, im still wanting the loud, low tone harley sound but with a little more power and not so much popping..im still thinking but wanted to do some home work before i buy...thanks guys

Was your bike dyno tuned for the short shots? Amy pipes will pop on decel if not properly tuned. Is there a significant pony increase and is it worth the cost?

The poping is a result of tuning not what kind of exhaust you have. It is running lean and that makes it pop on deceleration. If it was tuned properly you wouldn't hear any poping with any kind of exhaust.

well i've been told and i've read a few articals about the poping with the shorter more open ehaust so i thought about helping that by changing pipes..i have changed a few maps to where it doent pop at all but its shure hard on gas plus i can tell its not making as much seat of the pants power when i change the maps to where it doesnt pop..the only dyno and tuner for the power cammander around here is at a jap dealer and i did call them to see if they could dyno my bike and the pc and they told me they wouldnt touch a harley .. there is no one in this area that i know of that tunes pc and harleys.. the hddealer even told me they wouldnt touch a pc. they only do the download and sert...so it looks like im on my own...thanks guys for the replys..
