They are apparently the same as the Street Bob/Low Rider shocks. If that is the case, they are not worth the money. The Progressives perform better for less money.

I have a set of 12" eye to eye stock StreetBobshocks on my FXDC and they are just fine. You can pick them up on hdforum's classified or Ebay for about $60.00 compared to $200.00 for 412s. I would say try the Stock shocks first then if you don't like them, I almost guarantee you can sell them for the same amount, and go with 412s. I will agree with jmpancoast, that if you are gonna buy new from HD I would go with the 412s. One more thing to consider is how low you want to go, your stock shock is 12 5/8" eye to eye StreetBobs are 12" and 412s you can get in 12",11.5" or 11".

Depends on which dyna you have... Progressive doesn't make 11.5" for a lot of dyna models. I have ridden the low shock kit on a friends bike and love it... I actually just bought some for mine. I put them on and bobbed my fender so i am wanting to go lower now with the new fender. The low rear shock kit is 11.75" from eye to eye. It looked great on mine and rode great on my buddies. I am wanting to get rid of the low shock kit now so i can get shorter shocks for my bobbed fender. They have never even seen a bump.. i put them on then bobbed my fender and now i need lower shocks. To answer your question i really do think they are a good deal and ride great... some might say i am saying that because i have some for sale but thats not the case.. you will love the low shock kit. Throw me a pm back.. i just sent you one and i am negotiable.

What's the travel on the progressive shocks? Are they close to the HD shocks?

I have an '07 Low Rider and actually, I would like to raise it 1". I constantly drag pegs and yesterday I noticed there was a pretty good set of scrapes on the bottom of the primary. Would progressive have what I need to raise the back and front 1"?
