Has anyone mounted driver floorboards on their FXRT?

 

Yes. I have an 86 FXRD and it came with boards. In my travels I've seen several FXRT conversions. Currently there is an 89 FXRT for sale on E-Bay that has all the goodies including tourpack and floor boards. Just type in Harley FXRT in the search box and you will see it. Maybe then you can e-mail the owner and ask how he did it. I found that owners of the FXRD/Ts are strange ducks and love to talk about them.

The current stereo is an after market turd. I'm currently in search of a unit that will not look to offensive. Probably a marine unit.

 

Me too. Currently using the original that is on it's last leg. Let me now what you do.
