 \\;I assume you post is a misprint (buy in a couple of years), Is the bike in Japan.....doesn't matter, to much $ for what appears to be more or less a stock bike with low miles. \\;My advise would be to keep looking !

Yea... its a Dyna. Don't even thinking about payin 9k for that bike though. I got my 2005 FXD Superglide this year from a private party with 8K miles and TONS of extras for $9500.

 \\;I'd offer $7500 -$8000, the polished aluminum covers can be polished \\;to a high shine and don't let the term " the silver engine is on cheap bikes" scare you, some big tourers have the silver engines. The carb bikes are a lot easier to dial in for performance, the cam adjusting shoes are items that are rubbed on by a chain and will wear. I had mine changed out at 21k miles, could have gone another 10k. It's a fun bike, the Superglide is a blank canvass and you're the artist, I own a 2002 FXD and a 2005 FXDLI. Get it checked out and enjoy.
