I went with Progressive 412 Heavy Duties - available in black or chrome for most applications. Went with 11" to lower my street bob. Love the shocks firm ride, but no bottoming and excellent handling for under $200. Much better than harley shocks IMO.
how much do you wish to pay? \\; If budget than you will get what you pay for in ride quality. \\; If you can afford something good, you can purchase a YSS for less than $600/pair, Penske for $997.50, or Ohlins which are more money than the proceeding. \\; Is it worth it, if you want a good ride than yes. \\; Is it way better (performance wishe) than the shocks above, yep, you bet! \\; You will never know until you ride them than you will never go back to the other. \\; I am talking from experience.
I have new progressive 412 heavy duties 11 inch I bought for my low rider. They were to stiff for my bad back. I'll sell them for $125.00
They have maybe 100 miles on them and were $189.00

I noticed the front to be a little soft also. What do you suggest for that? Stiffer springs?

It sure would be nice to be able to shell out that kind of cash for a good suspension. I bet it would be an awesome ride. But I'm still young-ish and can handle bargain suspension, as long as they're sturdier that original. Thanks guys.
