a 6 speed tranny. \\; Excellent combination.

IMHO...The Super Glide Custom is the \\;most bike for the $$$.
It's lighter, better gas mileage, better handling, faster, more
responsive, looks hot, the chicks dig it and you can pick them up and give them a ride. \\; Two-up seating. \\; All you need to get
is a windshield and a sissybar and your set.

Get an 06 or newer. Lots of changes that allow you to do longer distances than the <\\;\\\\\\;05's
You're gonna have to explain that one a little more for me...

According to The HD website, the SGC weighs more than the Street Bob.........
I don't doubt it...solo v. 2-up, tank/trim- but probably not enough to matter.

Bigger frame, forks, 6 speed.....much better cruising is what I meant.

the 06 and up is a superior bike than the older ones... the older models are great too.... if an under 10K budget is what you need then you should be able to get hooked up with an 04-05 model FXDC for 9-10K. (just gotta negotiate).
8-9k then I think I personally would buy a 1200c sportster before a much older dyna.
