Chrome must be addictive. \\; I just purchased a 01 lowrider with 10k miles on it for 10k dollars. \\; He had added the following to it in chrome:

inner and outer primary covers
upper and lower belt covers
PM belt pulley and 7 into 14 spoke wheels
PM disk brakes and calipers
Carlini drag bars
horn cover
chrome levers, brake, and control covers
chrome billet foot pegs
chrome tag bracket and cover
chrome transmission/engine cover
chrome battery box
stainless braided clutch, brake, idle and throttle cables
chrome gear lever
chrome sliders
Vance and Hines staggered long shots
etc, etc.

Looks nice but damn its hell to keep polished and looking good. \\; He saved me alot of money though ..

chrome is easy as anything to keep shiny and looking good. try windex...water, soap, and shammy.... shout stain remover spray...whatever
don't get why you and others have a hard time with chrome?

Say no to chrome.... or at least lots of it.

 \\;Nice chrome derby and sprocket cover with the chrome bolts, and just lose the belt guards altogether so you can see it...
