I bought the half helmet and just picked up the face shiled for it today...man it is so nice for wearing glassed. Keeps the crap from hitting your forehead to. HD Helmet was 85.00 and the shield was 25.00. No one at the store knew they made a shield for this type of helmet.

I wear my Full Coverage, I prefer to not wear a helmet, but most of my miles are&nbsp\\;highway at 70+mph.
Its better than gettin' bloodied and beat by bugs and debris

I always wore a full faced helmet in the past. I bought a half helmet with the Harley but plan to get a full faced when the weather cools off.

one thing to consider. side vision is reduced with a full faced. it contributed to me getting broadsided back in 1988. haven't worn one on the street since.

This might sound dumb but I have noticed that I go a lot faster when weareing a full face helmet. I guess the wind in my ears when wearing the 1/2 helmet that I usually wear makes me realize how fast I am going. Good point about side vision being reduced.
