Most of it is pretty basic.
&nbsp\\;
Just make sure you put a ziplock bag or something around the oil filter when you remove it or you will spill oil all over the front mount area.

The service manual is a good idea it should tell you all you need to know, you are going to save yourself a lot of money. You also have a good resource here there a lot of guys that can help you if you have a problem.

Special tools I've had to&nbsp\\;buy specifically for the bike maintenance are&nbsp\\;Torx bits, a small torque wrench, and numerous large sockets (up to 1 3/8 for the fork tube caps). You'll probably want to buy the HD drive belt tension gauge. One of the best tools I have purchased is&nbsp\\;a primary chain tension gauge&nbsp\\;made by Jeff Liot (his website is liot.ca). You might also want to buy a lift.
&nbsp\\;
With the right tools and the manual, you should have no problems.
