Just went out for a ride. \\; Right off I noticed that when I pulled in the clutch and tried to roll the bike out of the garage, it would not move (it stayed in gear) \\; When I turned her over I noticed that she moved forward about a foot as it started. \\; It didnot lunge forward out of control... but moved forward none the less. \\; After it warmed up I got gas and had no further issue. \\; Is this a clutch ajustment issue? \\; I took a look in my dyna service manual and it does not look to dificult to do the adjustment...or is it?
do a adjustment and no it is not hard to do.you might still notice it a bit after the adjustment the newer ones it seems the plates are sticking till warmed up
Mine does that, SORT of. \\; Without the bike running, in gear, with the clutch pulled in, she will not move. \\; With her running, in gear, with the clutch pulled in, she will move. \\; No problems either running or not when she's in nuetral. \\; She will move forward, if you start her in gear, EVEN with the clutch pulled in.
I'd guess your bike's fine. The transmission oil is cold is all. Next time pull the clutch in and shove back with both feet. It should roll. Once it's rolled backwards about two feet, you should be able to put on the brake and snap it into neutral pretty easy. You've just unstuck your clutch plates. I do it every morning. If you cold start with the bike in gear and the clutch pulled in, it's going to go forward again it's just the clutch plates stuck together with cold oil. As your clutch wears it will get to be less of an issue.

The clutch adjustment isn't hard, but it probably isn't necessary and probably won't change your results.

Nothing wrong. When it is cold the clutch plates get sticky. Now if it is still pullihng forward once you start it up and warms just a bit then you \\;need to get it adjusted.

+1 same here \\; Does not hurt to do clutch adjustment anyway its a snap but when mine is cold same thing been that way since day1
Put 10w 40 syn in the primary and no more worries.........Amsoil recomends this..............It works well for me......The thickness of the cold 20 w 50 causes this drag you feel
