Old School Tires
Well the time for tires is fast approaching and I am thinking about taking it back to the old school, cause I'm an old fool, who's so cool...ok that's enough of that. \\; At any rate I am thinking about the ganster style white walls, avons or something like that, with the old school tread pattern. \\; My question is how narrow do you think I can go without sacrificing control or looks?

i too like the "old skool" look, but as others have mentioned, there is no one that makes a 17" wide white tire, for sure Avon does not. But I solved this problem by taking a 16" rim and re-lacing my hub to it with the 16" rim spokes, then got a set of Wide White walls (Venom) from Avon and now I have the wide white walls. Look at my pic to the left. I would attach a pic but not sure it will work I will try though. Any questions, please let me know.
