I just ordered a different set of bars. Currently i have 14" ape hanger bars with braided stainless cables on my 2007 FXDWG. They are internally wired, this is where my problem is, i really dont want to pull all of my wires back out of the bars and then redo it with my new bars. So I was wondering if anyone was looking for apes with cables and already internally wired that would send me their controls/wires with some money as well of course. This would save someone ALOT of time beings that they are already wired up and ready to go. Let me know if anyone is interested and from there we can talk about price and I can get pics soon as well.
Alright, i will try to answer everyone: \\; I am getting 16" bars, thats why I am getting rid of these. I've had no problems with them. They are 1 1/4" bars with 1" knurled clamp area. The bars were dimpled which allowed me to internally wire them. The wire extension i believe is a Novello harness, everything was professionally soldered, so the connections and nice, safe, and reliable. V-twin Manufacturing carries theses bars, I found them in there at my local dealership, but can't get their catalog to load online. The bars are MCM chrome products 1 1/4" ape hangers. \\;Hopefully i can get some good pics up tonight or tomorrow. As for a price, i am not sure what is reasonable, but we can figure something out after i get the pics up and see who is still interested. As for trading hand controls.... I'm wondering if only 07-08 controls will work for me?.. since my bike is an 07 model, \\;but im not 100% sure, if anyone knows, please verify that for me
