Anyone replace their headlights with aftermarket ones? I am looking to replace the whole thing but options seem limited. Wondering if anyone has any sites to check out other than JP Cycle and the other mass retail ones.
Options not really limited at all. \\; May seem so if you are looking for something that says it specifically fits a dyna. \\; All you really need to look for is a bottom mount headlight. \\; There are 3 wires going to the stock headlight, one of them is a ground. \\; A lot of aftermarket lights use only 2 wires (1 for high beam, 1 for low) and they ground to the bike when installed. \\; There are several brands and styles out there and prices range from $100 on up. \\; I don't buy anything from J&\\;P and others - too expensive. \\; Check out ebaymotors or easternperformance.com. \\; Mine is a 5.75" x 9" chrome bullet light from EP.
 \\;
Thanks for the input. I am thinking of going with a square dual light. Found one the other day and now can't remember where? First the hair went now the mind! \\;
is it possible to put a larger headlight on the FXDC, maybe a 7"?
 \\;
I think a 7" headlamp on a Dyna would look ridiculous, personally. I sometimes have second thoughts about my 5.75" &\\; wonder if I should have went with the 4.5"? Bigger headlamps look good on bigger bikes IMO, sporty Dyna's look good with smaller sportier headlamps. Just my 2 cents.

I put a 4.5" on to start with. \\; I liked it but some said it looked too small and I came to agree with that. \\; 5.75" is plenty big. \\; I agree with Ian, 7" is probably too big but with that said, it would probably fit. \\; Just beware fitment if you have a windshield.
