I felt the same way after I installed progressive 440's (HD) in the rear, front seemed too soft, and it felt like I was on a pogo stick, I tried progressive springs, better, not great, added heavier fork oil, better still, but still not satisfied, then bought works performance triple rate spring kit for v-rod/Dyna 49 mm forks, it comes with 3 adapters per side which you can orient to shorten or lengthen the duration of each spring, set all for maximum stiffness( I'm a big guy 6'3" 240), now I'm a happy camper, what a huge improvement. Bike seems so much more tossable, I bought the kit from Dennis Kirk, but I think they now only sell the dual rate kit. The point is your probably going to have to play around a bit before you find something that works for you, your load, and riding style, being lighter you would probably think my bike rides too harsh and stiff, Dynas handle pretty damn well stock, sorry no magic bullets, sometimes it takes a little trial and error.

The front end on my '06 low rider was too soft too. expecially when entering a corner hot. i put in screaming eagle heavy duty fork oil and it firmed up very nicely. big difference for a little price. although i did have to buy a jack.

Ya know I've been unhappy with my 07 wg's handling.&nbsp\\; I'm gonna try the 10w oil / 1" pvc...I like to ride aggressively and that front end is sloppy.&nbsp\\;

If you're going to go to the trouble of changing the oil and adding&nbsp\\;spacers, spend the $60 and get&nbsp\\;the Progressive springs. The springs made a dramatic difference on my FXDC regarding front end dive. The stock setup already has steel spacers that are about as long as the springs are, 12 or 13" if I remember correctly, and they preload the springs 3 or 4".&nbsp\\;Adding another inch to the spacer isn't going to do much. And good luck getting the caps back on with that much sticking up above the top of the forks.
The Progressive springs are almost twice as long as the stock ones and they're truly progressively wound. The stock springs are not progressively wound, they're too soft, they're too short and they're preloaded too much.&nbsp\\;

The problem with making three changes at once (or two) to the front end, is if you end up with something you still don't like, you won't know which one to change back or adjust.
Dealing with dialing in the front end the way you want it can really suck.&nbsp\\; I don't even know how many times I have taken the forks off my bike.... I know I had it down to a 30 minute job though (on and off).
I suggest only making one change at a time.
