Wow, Mister Rogers is a hog rider...
&nbsp\\;
It is a pretty informative post if you can get past the condescending tone.

My fellow detractors,

There's no need to search the Rant. This isn't one... it's actually a simple How-To.&nbsp\\;

Of course, some of you sensitive HD Riders out there took the tone as condescending and even insulting, but I assure you that it was just me indulging my fun with 50s era instruction manuals directed to kids. (Thus, the initial cartoon.) Otherwise, I might not have bothered with spending about an hour on this.&nbsp\\;

However, the second post is actually even more informative and does give you better results!

Since I'm not so invested in the negative opinions of others, I'll thank you all for the constructive criticism and feel good that at least one person found it useful.&nbsp\\;

Cheers,

&nbsp\\;-go.&nbsp\\;

400 seperate threads about the same thing is wasting storage space on this forum. That cost the host money and time. So it is at best inconsiderate, lazy,&nbsp\\;and wasteful.

+1 Joe,
&nbsp\\;
no need to justify yourself
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
You can say that again
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
I dont think that most people know that there are other Sections besides the DYNA section.&nbsp\\; Most of this stuff you see lately belongs in&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;OFF TOPIC

I know that this doesn't necessarily belong in this section, and I expected that it might be relocated, but I'm sure that there might be less bandwidth consumed if something of the sort was posted in the sections most heavily used, such as this one.

However, this is more prevalent to me here, since this is the section that I primarily use beside the DIY Tech Tips and the one that Mudpuddle turned me on to, General HD Tech forums.&nbsp\\; Those don't seem to have as much SPAM.

I dont think that most people know that there are other Sections besides the DYNA section.
i think you're right and that's why the Search function can pull all of the information from all the sources if done correctly.&nbsp\\;

However, Joe is absolutely right... some times it is hard to get solid information especially when some of the more established wrenchers start spending time elsewhere.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; And people who might not have the right idea just chime in.&nbsp\\;

I'm just a simple meat and potatoes kind of guy who feels better by getting as much information as possible so that I can begin to learn and weed out the info that just isn't sound on my own!&nbsp\\; When I cannot or I get stuck, I look to people like Mud and Joe, who's ingenuity and relative know-how is comforting to a newb like me.

When I decide to create my write-up for my step by step drag bar install and internal wiring, I'll make sure not to use the 50s era directives!&nbsp\\; [:@]
