old saddle bags, how to attach?
Picked up some old leather saddle bags for my Street Bob, they have the mounting frame attached to the bags on the back side, with two holes for the bolts. Can I just go to the local hardware store and grab some bolts that fit the fender strut and screw them on? Or do I need to go back to the hundred dollar store to get special stuff?

you could just go get two bolts. 3/8x16 course thread. \\; Length would be decided by how thick the bags are plus the length of the existing bolts. \\; Make sure they don't stick out into the area under the fender (where the tire is) \\; You should consider using fender washers so the bags don't rip off the bolts (if it doesn't have a steel reinforcing plate) \\; Be sure to use lock tite or they could loosen. \\; I'd suggest using either stainless steel or galvanized bolts or they will rust.
