i have a complete stage one upgrade, and i was curious to see what is the next good upgrade. i would really like some cams, but not sure about cost and whats a good one etc? hope someone can help me out? thanks!
IMO make your bike handle more power and increased speed by upgrading your actual bike. I am speaking of improved braking &\\; improved suspension. I own a stock 05 LR and I can tell you from experience that the suspension &\\; brakes are very inadequate.
A better and smoother ride will make your motorcycling experience much more enjoyable and safer. Improved braking speak for itself. Drive other model bikes and enjoy what a better handling bike feels like than decide if you wish to convert your Harley. My take on it. I speak from experience as I own a few bikes with non-Harley suspension and braking systems.
second the HQ cams, a Woods 6 is a producer aswell, but alittle more money.

if your looking for a zipper ride, then some head work \\; and a different exhaust would help too.
IMO best improvement after Stage 1 would be in brakes and suspension. What I did-RaceTech Cartridge emulators and progressive springs up front, Progressive 440 shocks in rear\\; Excel aluminum rims and Metzler 880 tires to lower unsprung weight and give better grip on corners and stopping\\;D&\\;D fatcat 2 into 1 pipes w/ stage 1\\; dual front Brembo calipers and 300mm. rotors for vastly improved stopping.Bike corners and stops and accelerates much, much better!
