I can tell you it's trouble. I had to resize my avatar in MS Paint to get it to work. Search the How To Post forum at the top of the main page. Just keep resizing untile your avatar is I think 25 x 25 and save it as a gif or jpeg, bmp not supported.

Also my digi camera has an option to adjust the pic size before downloading.

THE DEALER TOOK A PICTURE AND SENT IT TO ME I WANT TO PUT IT IN POST AND MAKE IT MY AVATAR I CANT SEEM TO GET IT FROM MY PICTURES TO THIS POST
