Posting pics
There are several titles in the sticky area that have tutorals on posting pics and even how to do an avatar if you are wanting that also.
Snickers
Easy way:
When you create a post, scroll down and click on "manage attachments". Select "upload from your computer" and click "browse". Select the location on your computer and click "upload". The image will be attached to the post as a thumbnail that others can click on or mouse-over to view.
The nice thing about this method is that it's less intrusive on other people viewing the thread. They can see the thumbnails and only load the images they want to view. And the forum software automatically scales the image size so that it won't be oversized and run off the normal width of the page.
Aternative method:
Another way to do it, you can find a site on the internet that will host (allow you to upload) your images. Do a Google seach for "free image hosting". Sites like
http://photobucket.com/
http://imageshack.us/
etc
Once your images are uploaded to a site, you can add them to a post on any forum (as a link or inserted as an actual image).
Most forums use tags that allow you to insert and image into a post. See link:

There can be some issues doing it this way. Some sites remove images after a certain length of time (this can result in a "image no longer available message" that we often see in older threads). Also, images are not automatically scaled to fit the forum (which can result in stretching the entire page and forcing people to scroll sideways to read the text and view the images).
