need some help, I try to reduce my pics to no more than 640 X 480, and photobucket says their reduced .... but when I post them they go back up to larger size??
I don't think the problem is the software, photobucket has a resize program, and shows the reduction, however when I post on the forum they go larger than the 640 X 480.I know I must be doing something incorrect but can't figure out what.........Just posted on a car forum and they are reduced as indicated????
I agree on the Powertoys pic resizer, that's what I use.[sm=smiley20.gif]
It's so easy to use and I like the fact that it makes a copy of the pic in a different size but also leaves the original larger pic untouched. So you can post the smaller version of the pic and also keep the larger version on your hard drive to view things in greater detail on your monitor whenever you want.

Two things determine the size online.
Size and DPI. Dots Per Inch should be 72dpi. anything more is a waste.
