love the look of removing the front fender but,
here in michigan it rains at a moments notice
not afraid to ride in the rain but does the water coming off the front wheel bother you much
When it's raining the water coming off the tire isn't the problem because you're wet anyway. \\; The problem with running no front fender is when it's not raining but the roads are wet, you're going to have one dirty engine. \\; So, if you don't mind doing a lot of cleaning or don't mind a dirty bike then you don't have a problem. \\; I ran a bike with no front fender for a while and got tired of cleaning the front of the engine. \\; Looks cool on some bike though.
Im in michigan as well .

i like to run with no front fendor from time to time as well . the only issue is in the rain and even after the rain you get a constant stream right in your face . so you have to lean to the side . but its not that big a deal .

I have run without a front fender \\;on a 200 mile trip that hit lots of wet spots, I will NEVER do it again. Every wet spot is a stream of water right in the face. I like the wind in my face, not water.
man i used to ride without frnt fender but i got sick of the rooster tail i would get from ANYTHING on the road, exp road kill tossed up in your face... ya sucks... did a bit of a dif front fender and still got coverage now... looked cool without, but not so cool while riding. \\; i am in IL so i know what your talking about with the random rain
The bare wheel does look bad a$$, but you will get tons of crap in the face. \\; I took mine off, but the roads in Nebraska are pretty crappy and full of holes that seem to hold water for weeks after it rains. \\; Put it back on after I kept getting sprayed on what I thought were dry days.
