FYI
For those interested in the Bassani exhaust: I had my HD dealer contact Bassani today. I wanted to know about the poosibility of the exhaust coming ceramic coated black. I had seen them for the Softail like this. Bassani told him that they should be available within the next month in the ceramic coated black finish. There will be an extra $100 or so added to the price.

Hopefully below is an example of the exhaust I am talking about. It will go great with the black denim Street Bob that I should be picking up this week!!

Does anyone have any pictures of the slash cut version of these pipes? The website does not seem to have any.

HD dealer just called and the black ceramic coated Bassani exhaust is available as of today. Available in straight and slash cut.

Try looking at the websites BassaniEast.com or prostreetcycles.net.

The ones in the picture I posted where the square cut, Pro Street, Softail pipes. Just used them to show the color.

Thanks!

Am I under the correct impression that Bassani Pipes really give you a great performance increase? I would guess the 2 into 1 would do even better. Do the pro-street have a crossover chamber? I also need some dang noise I am so sick of these silent stock pipes. I had two cagers pull out on me last week that I just know would not have done so had they heard me coming.

Thanks. It looks like I might have found my pipes. Very nice. Do they sell the thermal wraping or where should that be bought?

You can get the wrapping at an auto parts store (header wrap) or I got mine at my bike shop. 60 bucks or so I think.
