Default Harley Tools

Hi,
&nbsp\\;
This may sound a bit dumb, but does anybody have a list of the basic tools required for Harley (Superglide) ownership. I am newish to Harleys after many years on Jap or German (metric) bikes?
&nbsp\\;
Cheers,
Stu

The only thing I had to buy so far was a larger set of standard allen wrenches, a torx screwdriver the right size for the derby covery, and a oil filter wrench that would fit.
&nbsp\\;
Other than that just standard wrenches and sockets I already had and a torque wrench. Thats just for service so Im sure I will run across other things as I do more to it.

I bought a standard set of Craftsman tools (they're always on sale) and some ratchet torx drivers.&nbsp\\; A large socket for the fork tube bolts is handy.&nbsp\\; I also bought a Sears yellow lift.&nbsp\\; Do one oil change yourself and you'll save enough cash to buy all of the above.

Torx bits, ranging from small to LARGE, a torque wrench from 10 in lbs to 1000 in lbs, maybe a ft lb one too (just can't think of the values right now),&nbsp\\;some crows feet (foot?&nbsp\\; sounds funny saying feet, but it would be proper, I guess), a million&nbsp\\;different sizes of allen heads, and your&nbsp\\;basic tools you most likely have i.e\\; rachets, wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, etc.&nbsp\\; You might want to go get a belt tension checker from HD, and maybe even a shock pre load adjuster from them too.&nbsp\\; That's all I can think of right now.&nbsp\\; If I come up with more, I'll post 'em later.&nbsp\\; Hopefully this helps.

And the odd metric nut or bolt.&nbsp\\; I remember needed a 10mm socket for something or other on my '07 Low Rider
