Does anyone have a list of should have tools for a Newbie? I have alot of stuff now but am looking for that, "Every bike wrencher should have....."?
Basic motorcycle lift.
1/2" drive 150 ft. lb. torque wrench
3/8 drive ft. lb. torque wrench
1/4 or 3/8 drive inch lb. torque wrench
Good set of Torx sockets
Set of SAE and metric sockets w/rachets
SAE and metric ball end hex wrenches
Open and box end wrenches
Oil filter socket or strap wrench
HD service manual.
set of wrenches (combo - open/box) SAE & metric
screwdriver set
allen wrenches SAE & metric
Torx bit or socket set
3/8 ratchet set w/SAE & metric sockets deep & shallow
and most importantly the appropriate service manual for the bike!
All other "necessary" tools can be purchsed on a as needed basis!
