Default helicoil

Has anyone used a Helicoil to fix a stripped out spark plug? I would never do it on my SG but this is a small dirt bike (ttr125) so I think it may work. If anyone has used one how did you calculate the size you needed?

Thanks

bring the plug with you and it they will give you the one to fit if its on line they usually ask the plug size If its stripped bigger than that You are prob in need of a head. I have done it to small engines no prob but never tried on anything bigger than 20 Hp

Stronger than original when done. I'd do it no problem. Some aircraft engines have them too.
