Default QUESTION ABOUT MID PEGS

I have an 06 SB and at the time of purchase I put forwards on it. The question is can I just put the&nbsp\\;foot pegs back on and still have the forwards with the gears and clutch shifters there. I was told by the dealer that I can not.&nbsp\\;Being a new owner, I did not get the pegs when I picked up my bike and I will have to&nbsp\\;have them get me a pair to replace. Would it be a hard job just bolting them on. The reason is to have two leg postions on long rides.&nbsp\\;

I left my mids on when I installed the HD forward controls. Comes in handy on longer trips.

Very easy mod. Get a set of mids from eBay and use the peg mounts.

Thanks, I am going to get them to find a set for me and I will figure it out how to bolt them back on.

Do you have passenger pegs?
I've used mine as a alternative to the forwards on longer trips.

Thats why I like the mid controls with highway pegs. Gives me 2 options for foot placement plus I can shift/brake from either postion.

The mids were always in my way, I was glad to go to forwards.

&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;I drove a S/Bob with mids yesteday and i gotta say I prefer the forwards. But if you look under the exhaust pipes at the frame there are holes there with&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; little plastic covers. Pop the covers and shove the bolts through 1,2, and 3 put the pegs on,be sure to get a few buddies over and at least a six pack and it will take you more time to actually drink the beer than putting on the pegs!
