How much can the stock mini apes on the Street Bob be adjusted without replacing brake, clutch, and throttle cables...? I would imagine some fine adjustment of the throttle cables and possibly the clutch cable would be necessary.....but is there anything else to consider?

I am looking to raise mine to make them look more toward traditional ape hangers...but not so much I want to replace them.
Actually I am thinking of simply rotating the bars more vertical. So are you saying I can rotate the bars 2-3 inches more toward vertical and all else will be ok?
If you have stock risers you can push those grips as far forward as you want. Cover your tank with a thick blanket before you loosen those riser clamps, in case you drop the bars onto the tank.
when I wanted to get a feel for how high I wanted my apes I put four inch risers on without changing any cables/wiring. I am a giant ape so I just got a pair of 18" apes, I will need new cables for those ....you can push the stock mini apes as far forward as you want really....

when I wanted to get a feel for how high I wanted my apes I put four inch risers on without changing any cables/wiring.
Good plan, I ran 6 inch risers for a week, then 4 inchers for about 6 months. I was happy with the grip height, so I bought a set of Wild One apes that were the same height mounted on stock risers as the stock bars were mounted on 4 inch risers. I am switching cables just cause I want the extra room to rotate the bars, but they fit with stock.
