Default Small spark when connecting battery

The good news is that I went for the 1st ride of the season yesterday.

But before that, when I connected the battery ( it was stored all winter) I noticed a very slight spark when I connected the cable to the neg. post. Everything ran fine, the battery didn't run down over night., started right up this am. Does something require electricity even though all switches and the ignition was off?

Is this normal--2003 wide glide, no factory alarm?
I couldn't find any advice in DIY.
Thanks in advance

Nothing to be concerned about. You'll get a slight spark on reconnection after it has been unhooked for a while.
