Your problem might be fixed as easy as just finding the right pegs. Mine came off too when I tried some custom pegs but I have gone back to stock (until I find something else) and have no problem. Also one pair of boots I have seem to let my feet fall off. Good luck.

They work great and look good on the bike.

It depends more on how long your legs are than overall height, I have a 38" inseam and sitting back in the seat&nbsp\\;with my feet on the foward controls&nbsp\\;my kness are on the Harley emblem on the tank. I want forward controls for my forward controls. I agree, finding the right pegs will be the key.
