PCIII question
I installed a PCIII with a pre-programmed map from Fuel Moto about a month ago. The thing is I haven't even looked at the software yet because I have a Mac not a pc (IBM).
My question is I haven't set my closed and open throttle positions yet, how important is it to do this, and am I going to screw anything up? The bike runs great but just want to make sure I don't run into any problems till I borrow a friends laptop.

it is important... it will relieve some popping on decel and your idle will change. \\; but i dont think you are going to mess anything up, but i wouldnt want to chance it. \\;
do any of your neighbors have a pc??? \\; if you can pull it up to a window and get the 5 foot cord to reach your bike you could set it in under one minute.

Isn't it funny how owning a 2006 or later harley generally means also owning a laptop? Wonder if Bill gates is in cahoots with the MoCo. lol

Actually what you mean is you'll never run MS Windows. I'm a tech so... but Macs are way overpriced. What makes your mac so much better than a laptop running XP or Vista? Just asking. You've already been inconvenienced because you run a mac and a lot of software isn't available for it.
Your 0 throttle position is probably OK. \\; They run rough at an idle if they are set wrong. \\; 99% shure that it is OK. \\; If you can borrow a laptop with the PCMDR software on it that would be the best. \\; Throttle position is on the right hand upper screen should say 0 at an idle. \\;
