Hey DR, yes that is what I was going for being more visible and so far it seems that's the case. I notice more cagers looking at me now with them on. No on the powder coat, I used a strong sand paper on the chrome and made the surface nice and gritty then painted it with flat black and dried in 100 deg temps outside for a day. Gave it 5 coats, seems pretty durable.

Where did you get those lights? Did they come with the mounts?

Hi Greg, they are Harley standard parts over the counter and yes you get the mounting brackets and wiring harnes, switch, relay and everything you need. The forward pegs&nbsp\\;I added also which they mount to almost perfect meaning I added some cut plastic tubing under the light brackets so the lights would tighten up somewhat better.

DR, I have seen some gloss black small aux lights in some of the NAPA or auto parts stores that would look nice on your bike and I am sure at about 1/3 the cost of these HD lights. The challange will be finding the right mounting brackets.
