Prob w/Kury Smoke Laydown Light

I installed the Kuryakyn smoke laydown tail light on my new super glide and the brake light won't come on.
The tail light shows up fine, but when I hit the brakes, the second element in the bulb barely glows, not enough enough to notice without the bulb removed from the housing.&nbsp\\; Any ideas?

agreed if it is an LED bulb the resister may have too much there!

Have been looking into led taillight, possibly with integrated turn signals. Is that any add-on that you need to manage the leds?

Since you said bulb, and not LED is it possible you have the wires reversed? Sounds like the brighter of the two elements is acting as your tail light, not as the brake light.

I don't know how I would reverse the wires, as it plugs into the stock wiring system with a one way plug.&nbsp\\; I think I am going to swap it out for and LED one anyway.&nbsp\\;
