dyna inner primary cover ?

dyna inner primary cover ?
Ok so i have an 08 fxdc and i am trying to find a chrome inner primary cover that will fit my bike. i have tried asking kuryakyn if the model 8290 would fit my bike or if they have one that will fit my bike but they will not give me a strait answer. so does anyone know if this will fit or is there another one that will? thanks

Did you call them or email them? \\; They have a bunch of bikes there and should be willing to take one down and see if it fits. \\; They did a similar thing for me when I was trying to see if 06 forwards would fit my 07. \\; Nothing should have changed on your bike from the prior year as far as the motor/primary goes.

just called and apparently kuryakyn does not make an inner primary cover newer than 05. so i guess i have no choice but to just get the whole new inner primary. thanks for the help though guys.

My bike (07 FXD) just came out of the shop with a brand new chrome cover for the inner primary that was purchased from kuryakyn....i installed forward controls and had the shop install a new chrome outside primary (wideglide primary....avoid the "little plug"/cleaner look) and they simply bolted the cover on at that time. \\; It was a much cheaper alternative than the actual chrome inner primary and it doesnt look all that bad.....if you want the part number, let me know and i'll check it out tonight when i get home.

all that to say, that you should be able to get one for you 08 because i dont think the models have changed...maybe im wrong there!
