Default Big Sucker Maintenance

I have had the AN Big Sucker on for about 3000 milies now and I noticed the color is starting to fade into a brownish gray.&nbsp\\; Is this normal or is there specific maintenace I need to do?&nbsp\\; Thanks!

no problem with the color, maintenance depends on conditions you ride in.&nbsp\\; More dusty, more often.&nbsp\\; I clean ours every 5K miles.

Go get a K&amp\\;N cleaning/oiling kit and follow the instructions.&nbsp\\; It's that simple and cheap.

take filter off if you can see through the gray areas your ok.(see light)
i have 3000 miles on mine with an open filter and it is just starting to gray on the bottom.

Very easy to clean and oil as previously said.....DO NOT OVER OIL !!!&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

I clean and oil mine about every 2500 miles, only takes about an hour total with KnN kit

I've had mine about 5K miles, and have serviced it 2x.&nbsp\\; Mine is usually filled with bugs, and it starts to sun fade on the top.&nbsp\\; Normally I'll leave it sit overnight just to make sure it soaks in good, and any excess oil can run out.
