During an oil cooler install to my '06 Super Glide, I over tighten the front lower engine mount bolt[:@].&nbsp\\;Now it justs barely grabs. I still took it around the block, to get the oil to move through the cooler. I guess I should invest in a tap and dye set. Any suggestions?

This install needed a 7/16 hex. I had such a hard time finding one. Most sets went up to 3/8. The ones that went over skipped 7/16 and went stright to 1/2. I could not even find just a single without special ordering it. My 2 hour job turned into 5 days, waiting for NAPA to get me the right size hex. Why was a 7/16 hex so hard to find?

or acehardware! personally i would just re tap it... HARBOR FREIGHT! they got a nice kit

 

Yeah went to Sears, Sears Grand, Harbor Freight, HomeDepot, Lowe's, NAPA, Ace, Long Beach Motorcycle Swap Meet, and a couple of independent hardware stores. Even the maintance department at work. By the way, a 11mm is a pretty close fit and also just as hard to find.

it needed replacing anyway
