dude check how much torque that machine has! I bet she is real smooth once you get going on the road? Mine shakes too- normal. People ask me sometimes \\; at a red light hey your bike is shaking is that normal? then i give them a rev and they say oh ok!

Tell your buddy that the softies are solid mounted with counterbalancers in the motors, those counterbalancers are robbing horsepower. Let him mull that one over.
