Has anyone adjusted the angle from stock? Was it more comfortable? \\; I'm finding they are not very comfortable after 140 miles or so. Thinking of mini apes or something.
Not to get off-topic on my own post, but what makes apes addictive? \\; I've sat on bikes with mini apes and really tall apes, the mini apes seemed more natural feeling. \\; But i don't have and long distance riding experience with either of them.
I angled mine down for awhile ,you can't angle them down much cause the throttle and idle cables start to rub the filler cap and up is just goofy. there is a thread in the how to under 50 $$ on how a guy \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; got 8 washers and longer bolts and extended his risers an inch. I get what you mean my neck gets kinda soar after awhile.
 \\;
The thread is by JRK5892 https://www.hdforums.com/m_2546488/tm.htm \\;called 3 dollar homemade risers
I just put on the carlini design 1.5' clean sweeps 7" rise on my fat bob and they look smokin. I've tried to post pics but can't figure out how to do it. File to large, file to large thats all I keep getting. wtf?
I did over 500 miles in three days and didn't have a single complaint. Is it your back or your wrists? If its the back, then consider some bag/backrest.
Wrists? Well, I guess you might want new bars or maybe a larger grips maybe?
I feel it in the wrists, and this last ride i felt it in the neck a bit. \\; Cookn, keep trying with the pics, i want to see those. \\; Did you reuse the cables and wires or have to buy longer ones?
