Default Going back to mid controls, much work?

I´ve decided to convert back my forwards to mid controls. I have ALL the original Street Bob 07 mid hardware. Is it easy or do I have to remove the primary cover? Please don´t ask me why, just give me instructions .

If the rod was removed inside the primary you have to go back in to replace if not then its easy

I'm curious when they remove the rod do they just insert a cap to plug the hole?

&nbsp\\;
Yes, the hole through the primary cover has a gasket between the inner &amp\\; outer cover. So it is just a through hole.

After you put them on be careful putting your feet down till you are used to them, place feet extra wide...

I have forwards also.&nbsp\\; Left the mid pegs in for about a day.&nbsp\\; Decided that on anything over a 100 miles I could put them back on.&nbsp\\; Otherwise looks pretty stupid.&nbsp\\; IMO
