Does the rear fender matter as to which seat I have to have? I bought a 04 lowrider and for whatever reason it has a wideglide rear fender. I am lookin to swap for a solo seat but the seat I'm lookin at I guess fit's all Dyna's but the wideglide. Is this because the fender is different? Do I need to order 1 for a wideglide in order to fit my bike?
good question - I'm guessing that the hole in the fender is in a slightly different location.
don't know for sure. The corbin solo will all 04-05 dyna, and I think that's because it doesn't use the fender mount hole. LePera has a different fitment for WG and it uses the hole.

Reason: typo
OK - I still don't know for sure - but since I have both fenders I did some rough measures.
The rearmost hole on a 04-05 WG fender is most definitely farther back than the rearmost hole on a Superglide fender, so a 2-up WG seat and 2-up lowrider seat are NOT interchangeable.
However, the solo mount hole for both fenders APPEARS to be in the same spot - relative to the hole that the grabstrap mounts to.
My guess - AND ITS ONLY A GUESS - is that solo seats that use this mount hole will interchange. Now - you'll probably hit issues if you try to add a pillion.
Have you tried contacting LePera? They will probably give a standard line, but if you get the right person, they might be able to tell you.
Thanks for all you imput. I dont know if it's the factory 2up or a widelide 2up seat I'm running. I'll have to call Lepera before I make my order. Thanks again.
